The Child Welfare mission is to maintain or achieve safety, permanency, and developmental well-being of children and families. This eLearning will cover how federal and state laws define these three areas as key to child welfare practice and provide the structure and guidance to achieve these key elements.
This eLearning was designed as part of Regional Core Training and Workforce Core, but is available to DCYF staff past that point for review as needed. When completed outside of RCT or WFC, this course confers 0.25 credit hours.
