Native American and Alaska Native youth are disproportionately represented in child welfare systems and often navigate complex intersections of identity, culture, trauma, and systemic bias. This interactive training equips caregivers with practical tools to better understand, support, and advocate for Native American Tribal families and youth. Participants will explore how identity is shaped by race, ethnicity, family systems, youth culture, trauma history, and lived experience.
