Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI): Connecting Principles – Engagement Strategies

This session offers ways to balance structure and nurture when parenting children who have experienced trauma. You will reflect on your own natural approach, what works about it, and some concrete, doable activities that could support the children in your care. You will learn more about how to build trust, belonging and felt-safety through healthy touch with permission, warm eye contact, voice quality, behavior matching, and playful interactions.

Completion of this course confers 3 credit hours.
