This session will cover a trauma-informed mindset about correcting behaviors, and strategies for predicting and preventing complicated behaviors. Children are trying to get their needs met, and their behavior may have helped them survive in their other home. You can help in the moment with connection and regulation, as well as teaching different approaches during calm times. You will learn more about giving voice and sharing power, behavioral scripts, choices and compromises, and using life value terms or sayings.
