Caregiver Core Training (CCT) is a mandatory training series for non-kin caregivers to become licensed in Washington State. Kin caregivers are welcome to complete all or parts of CCT, but the training is not required. CCT is made up of six eLearning sessions, approximately two hours each, designed to support basic knowledge for caregivers. CCT includes voices from former youth placed in care, current caregivers, and parents who have been involved in the child welfare system. CCT is fully online and completed at your own pace. You have one year to complete the course, including the "while you wait" support session.
