Child Protection Services (CPS) In-Service: Case Closure and Documentation

This training equips Child Protection Services (CPS) caseworkers to ensure responsible and well-documented case closures that prioritize child safety and family stability.

You will learn to assess readiness for case closure and facilitate effective transfer staffings. Through practical skill-building, you will develop the ability to write clear, legally defensible closing summaries and coordinate post-closure supports to promote long-term family well-being.

Completion of this course confers 3 credit hours.
