This course supports kinship caregivers by exploring the emotional complexity of caring for children within the family network. Topics include managing divided loyalties, navigating shifting roles, setting healthy boundaries with parents and relatives, and addressing feelings such as anger, guilt and resentment. You will also learn how trauma, separation and loss affect both children and caregivers, and why prioritizing your well-being is essential. Strategies to manage stress, identify emotional triggers and build resilience will be shared, along with practical tools for self-care and fostering a protective, supportive environment for the entire family.
