CaRES Special Events: Caregivers - Indicators of Learning Disabilities

Learning does not look the same for every student. While all students can experience challenges during the school year, those who have a learning disability may experience more or more complex challenges. Because learning disabilities cover a wide range of neurobiological disorders, they may interfere with speaking, listening, reading, writing, spelling, and other areas of learning. Join licensed therapist, Camille Hereth, to learn early indicators that your child may be at risk for experiencing challenges related to learning disabilities. You will also be introduced to strategies to advocate for testing to determine what types of learning disabilities are present and what kinds of accommodations will be most impactful for school success.
